Annual CHP inspections consistently show satisfactory ratings in vehicle maintenance, trip reporting procedures, driver hiring practices, random drug screening compliance, ongoing review of driver’s licensing and medical exam requirements. The PUC also looks at driver qualifications, drug testing and insurance.
